Subscription Cancellation
How to Cancel
You can cancel your Quarkifi Stream subscription at any time through:
Cancellation Process
- Log in to your Quarkifi Stream account
- Navigate to Account Settings or Billing
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the confirmation prompts
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation email
Effective Date of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- You retain access to all features until the subscription period ends
- Your device data and configurations are preserved for 30 days after cancellation
Refund Policy
Prorated Refunds
If you cancel your subscription mid-billing cycle, you are eligible for a prorated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription period.
Calculation: Your prorated refund amount will be calculated based on the number of days remaining in your billing period at the time of cancellation.
Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Refund credited to your account within 10 business days of cancellation
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for subscription purchase
- Your banking institution may require additional time (typically 3-5 business days) to post the refund to your account
Refund Processing Note
Please allow up to 15 business days for the complete refund process from cancellation to seeing the credit in your account, accounting for both our processing time and your financial institution's processing time.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Setup or onboarding fees (if applicable)
- Custom development or integration services
- Consumed bandwidth or API calls beyond plan limits
- Third-party service charges
Plan Downgrades
Switching to a Lower-Tier Plan
You can downgrade your subscription plan at any time:
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
- The system automatically calculates any applicable refund for the difference between plans
- Prorated credits are applied to your next billing cycle
- If you cancel instead of renewing, the credit is refunded to your original payment method
Feature Access After Downgrade
When downgrading to a lower-tier plan:
- You will lose access to premium features not included in the lower tier
- Device limits and data retention policies of the new plan apply
- Historical data remains accessible according to the new plan's retention policy
- You will receive a notification before the downgrade takes effect
Plan Upgrades
Switching to a Higher-Tier Plan
Upgrades are processed immediately:
- You gain immediate access to new features and higher limits
- Charges are prorated for the remainder of your current billing period
- Your next billing date remains unchanged
Free Trial Cancellation
If you signed up for a free trial:
- You can cancel anytime during the trial period without charge
- Cancellation must occur before the trial end date to avoid automatic billing
- No refund is necessary as no payment was collected
- Your data is retained for 30 days after trial cancellation
Special Circumstances
Service Disruptions
If our service experiences significant downtime or disruptions:
- We will provide service credits proportional to the outage duration
- Credits are automatically applied to your account
- You may request a refund instead of credit by contacting support
Disputed Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly:
- Contact our support team at support@quarkifi.com within 30 days
- Provide your account details and the disputed charge information
- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
- Refunds for legitimate errors are processed immediately
Data Retention After Cancellation
After you cancel your subscription:
- 30-Day Grace Period: Your device data, configurations, and dashboards are preserved for 30 days
- Data Export: You can export your data during this period
- Reactivation: You can reactivate your subscription within 30 days without data loss
- After 30 Days: All data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
Important: Please export any data you wish to retain before the 30-day grace period expires. Data deletion after this period is permanent and irreversible.
Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription plans:
- Cancellations result in a prorated refund for the unused months
- The annual discount is recalculated based on actual usage period
- You will be charged the difference if the per-month rate exceeds your annual rate
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days
